Hakuba is a fantastic destination for winter sports enthusiasts. If you want to enjoy the slopes with your furry companion, two ski resorts allow pets on the lifts: Hakuba Norikura Onsen Ski Resort and Jii-Gatake Ski Resort.
Note: Hakuba Sanosaka Ski Resort previously allowed pets but no longer does.

New Snow Dog Run Course
Starting from January 18, 2025, Jii-Gatake Ski Resort has introduced the Snow Dog Run Course, specifically designed for pets and their owners to ski together.
Pet-Friendly Facilities
- Snow Dog Run Course (accessible via No.1 Pair Lift)
- Indoor Dog Run (located inside the Kids' Park building, former Ski Center)
How to Use
- Purchase the pet lift ticket at the Center House ticket counter (Note: Pets are not allowed inside the Center House).
- Take the No.1 Pair Lift.
- The Snow Dog Run Course is located on the left side after exiting the lift and ends near the No.2 Lift area.
Additional Notes
- Pets must be on a leash in the lower area of the ski resort.
- An indoor dog-friendly rest area is available inside the Kids’ Park building.
- Pet lift cages are available for rent if needed.
