HAKUBA IWATAKE MOUNTAIN RESORT (formerly known as Hakuba Iwatake snow resort) has changed a lot. They had a huge lily garden until last year.
They closed the lily garden in 2018 — the newly launched "HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR" and "IWATAKE GREEN PARK" from 2019.
HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR
HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR opened in October 2018. Located at 1,289 meters high at the top of Hakuba Iwatake. There's a cafe "THE CITY BAKERY" (originally from NY) inside the HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR.
Enjoy spectacular views of mountains with a coffee and sandwiches.
IWATAKE GREEN PARK
They opened a green park at the top of Hakuba Iwatake. They have Private Decks (reservation is required), Free Wi-Fi Outdoor Space, Kids Park, and Buggy Cruise (Price: Adult 1,500 yen Children 500 yen *Children need to board with parents).
A Pet-Friendly area
You can spend time with your dog at HAKUBA IWATAKE MOUNTAIN RESORT. Dogs are allowed on the gondola, at the terrace of HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR and a pet-friendly area.

Dirt trails.
Forest Trekking
There is a Trekking area, "Nezuko no Mori." They also have a Walking guide tour.
How to get to HAKUBA IWATAKE MOUNTAIN RESORT?
HAKUBA IWATAKE MOUNTAIN RESORT located top of the Hakuba Iwatake gondola. Take Hakuba Iwatake gondola "Noa" to get there.
The gondola prices are 1,800yen for adult (over junior high school students),1,000yen for child, and 600yen for pet. * Children 0 to 6 years old are free.

Opens at 8: 30 am and closes at 5:00 pm.
